

The Great Government Group Principles
The Principles of the Great Government Group are that GREAT GOVERNMENT:
- Has a dedication to demanding the very best from elected officials and not accepting less.
- Doesn’t spend money that it doesn’t have.
- Does not tolerate elected officials who lie, cheat or steal.
- Comes from Citizens who are willing and able to communicate clearly what is expected and demanded of our elected officials.
- Sets and meets high standards for government elected and appointed officials.
- Protects its citizens to keep them safe and secure. It is not “soft” on crime or national security.
- Demands that elected officials put a citizens' needs before his or her own.
- Is responsive to its citizens. Questions get answers. Needs are met. A Citizen’s vote counts.
- Routinely tells Citizens, “Yes, we can do that.” If citizens are told, “No,” there is a clear reason and convincing justification.
- Is made up of Liberals, Conservatives, Democrats, Independents, Republicans and citizens of no political party.
- Does not tolerate divisive politics.
- Gives encouragement and does not place blame.
- Is forward looking.
